As I have mentioned previously, I am a Media student currently studying at Glasgow Caledonian University and I’m sure you probably know that university can be very stressful and challenging. So what better to help with that stress than a nice brunch date with friends? It’s the perfect solution – eating away your stress and talking about it with people who can understand what you’re going through? Yes please. A cult favourite of my friend group is Bill’s which is in Glasgow City Centre on West Nile Street, just a short walk from our university campus making it the ideal spot for our regular after-class meal outings. We have also recently tried out Wilson Street Pantry which really hit the spot and proved to be a competitor for Bill’s. Both places are perfect for brunching on a budget but what makes them that much better is that the decor is very warm and inviting in both locations and the atmosphere is always very happy and light. Now let’s get to the important part – the food. My personal favourite brunch meal is definitely Eggs Benedict which both Bill’s and Wilson Street Pantry execute beautifully in their own unique ways. I simply couldn’t choose one over the other, it would be like asking a mother to decide which of her children is her favourite.
